The Brick Fields album “Shambhala” is filled with a fusion of blues, jazz songs with a sprinkle of country and nothing sounds so good. Breaking down the elements of the talents of this group will allow listeners to better understand where this power is coming from. Vocally, there is no match. Vocals are filled with character, animated, emotional, cool and smooth. They are able to bring the listener right into the storyline each and every time. The musical arrangements are exceptional as they balance those raw vocals creating an experience for the audience that they will soon not forget. Songs that give good representation of their sound are “The Moon is My Friend”, “Broken Down Soul”, “Higher and Higher” and their single “Shambhala”. Each has its own life force:

Featuring Brick Fields friends Caleb Bomar on drums, Ron Sumner on bass, Daniel O'Brian on lead guitar, Rain Equine on back vocals. Casey Terry on Saxophone, Randy Fairbanks on keys and Fred Meyer on violin. Rachel's children were ages 5 years to 7 years when they lended their back vocals on the track Shambhala. Engineered at Sound Illusions studios with Wes Hutchinson in Northwest Arkansas. Genre: Folk: Folk Blues Release Date: 2011
