Buffalo River House Concerts, 2000 E Country Way, Fayetteville, AR

We are honored to be a part of the Buffalo River House Concerts this year. This is from Rick:

Buffalo River House Concert Series – Spring 2019 2000 E Country Way, Fayetteville, AR 72703 rickhint@gmail.com

¬¬Welcome to the Buffalo River Concert Series. Our focus is to present some of the best singer-song writers and performers available today in an intimate setting focused on their music and the stories behind their songs. We are excited about the 2019 season.

Our new venue is small, 40+ seats, which assures you of a personal experience with the artists but limits the number who can attend so please email me at rickhint@gmail.com or call 501-940-0872 to make sure you have a seat reserved. Suggested donations are $15-$20 for all concerts. All proceeds go to the artists. Doors open between 6 and 6:30 and concerts begin at 7 to allow plenty of time to mingle with guests, get to know the artists and get home as early as possible. Coffee and snacks will be provided but feel free to bring your favorite drink or snack to share.

January 11 (Friday) – Rachael Fields: 4th Local Legends Concert

This year we feature Rachael Fields of the Brick Fields band. It is an opportunity to hear her musical story up close and personal.

Rachael is a long-time resident of NW Arkansas and you may have seen her with her band at one of our many local venues. She opened for Bruce “Sunpie” Barnes at George's for the 45th anniversary of the Buffalo River National Park celebration in 2016.

Rachael is one of my favorite blues musicians. She is the real thing. When she sings blues or gospel it comes from a deep inner well of feelings and experiences. It is honest and authentic. A few years ago she won the local blues competition (at Georges) which won her a trip to Memphis to compete in the regional blues competition at the Orpheum theater. She won first place there. She is a local treasure and a wonderful person. This concert is a great opportunity to hear Rachael in an intimate setting, with her husband, and to get to know her and her music. I hope you can make it.
