What Is A House Concert?

A house concert is a fantastic way to enjoy and share new music with your friends and family right in the comfort of your own home. It is also a great way to support Independent Artists.

How To Host A House Concert

Hosting a house concert is easy and will probably cost less than a night out on the town. First you invite 25 to 100 of your favorite people and their friends. Then you find the best space around your home to hold a concert, by the pool, in the living room, den, front or back yard, under the mulberry tree etc...
Then you round up your chairs, couches, benches and set them up concert style. You can even suggest that your guests bring their own lawn chairs or folding chairs.
You may want to provide some snacks, but it's not necessary and you can also suggest that your guests BYOB.

How Do You Pay The Musical Guests?

You simply make your friend and family aware that there is a suggested donation and you can either put a tip jar by the door or take up a collections. Suggested donations vary depending on how far the artist travels but it is usually somewhere between $10 and $20. All proceeds go to the musicians.

How Long Does A House Concert Usually Last?

Usually about  2 hours with a intermission. 7pm to 9pm  is a good time. It's after dinner and before the kids go to bed.

Hosting a house concert is a great experience for everyone, it's short and sweet, entertaining, a good way to bring people together, a great way to meet neighbors you've never met and a really awesome way to support Independent artists.

For those of you who live far away this is the perfect solution for us to come to you. We can plan a tour around your House Concert.
